American Airlines eVouchers

American Airlines eVouchers are electronic travel vouchers issued by our Customer Relations department.

eVouchers offer our customers the convenience of purchasing tickets via AA.com. After selecting the flight(s) you would like to purchase, on the payment screen (see below), simply input the eVoucher number(s) and PIN(s) as well as the value to be applied from your eVoucher.

This amount will be automatically deducted from the value of your eVoucher and then applied toward the purchase of the airline ticket. If the total price of the ticket exceeds the value of your eVoucher(s), you must use a credit card for any remaining balance.

You may also telephone American Airlines Reservations and speak with one of our reservation specialists. Please note that a service fee will apply for tickets issued with the assistance of an American Airlines reservation agent.

*eVouchers redeemable toward the purchase of air travel wholly on flights operated by American Airlines, American Eagle^® and AmericanConnection^® carriers for itineraries sold and originating in the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.  AA eVouchers are also available for payment for travel on oneworld^® itineraries where AA or AA^* is the international carrier defined as transatlantic, transpacific and to/from South America provided point of sale and origination is U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. A minimum of one of these international segments/flights (sectors) is required to use a voucher as form of payment.

They cannot be used for payment of air travel on any other airlines. Flights sold or originating outside the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands or operated by other carriers are not eligible.
